The K-League, operator of South Korea’s football league, is looking to host an All-Star friendly match in Vietnam or Indonesia between July 25 and August 1 in a bid to promote itself in the region.<\/p>\n
According to reports, the league officials are in talks with their Vietnamese and Indonesian counterparts in order to negotiate a deal.<\/p>\n
“This is one of our marketing activities to promote our league in Southeast Asia. We will confirm the country and the match format no later than this month”, a K-League official told local newspapers.<\/p>\n
Previously, the K-League hosted an All-Star Game in Japan in 2008 and 2009, in cooperation with the J.League.<\/p>\n
