In a press conference yesterday, four time Thai League champions <\/span>Muangthong United <\/b>announced the appointment of former Suphanburi and Sukhothai manager <\/span>Pairoj Borwonwatanadilok<\/b> to replace the now departed Radovan Curcic. The Kirin also shocked the Thai League by announcing the return of Macedonian playmaker <\/span>Mario Gjurovski <\/b>from <\/span>Bangkok Glass. <\/b><\/p>\n

Bangkok Glass themselves, now known as <\/span>BGC Pathum United<\/b>, have also been active in the transfer market. Despite being relegated to the second division, the side have made a move for <\/span>Chiangrai United <\/b>goalkeeper <\/span>Chatchai Budprom, <\/b>and have also acquired the services of Singapore international <\/span>Irfan Fandi<\/b>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, their local rivals <\/span>Bangkok United<\/b> have continue their off-season spending spree. Having already secured deals for national teams stars <\/span>Tristan Do <\/b>and <\/span>Peerapat Notchaiya<\/b>, as well as rising starlet <\/span>Anon Amornlerdsak<\/b>, the side have added El Salvador international <\/span>Nelson Bonilla <\/b>to their ranks. Bonilla scored 25 goals from 33 league appearances for relegation threatened <\/span>Sukhothai FC <\/b>last season, making him one of the most prolific attackers in the league. <\/span><\/p>\n

Going the other way, Ratchaburi have signed goalkeeper <\/span>Pairoj Eiammak <\/b>from Sukhothai. The Dragons have also added <\/span>Air Force Central FC <\/b>striker<\/span> Yodsak Chaowana <\/b>and winger <\/span>Steeven Langil <\/b>from<\/span> NEC FC <\/b>in the Belgian League to their ranks. <\/span><\/p>\n

Chonburi FC<\/b> have begun an overhaul of their foreign player roster. So far, the side have signed former Notts County defender <\/span>Mawouna Avremor <\/b>from Moroccan side Al Hoceima<\/strong>. The sharks have also added Myanmar internationals <\/span>Zaw Min Tun <\/b>and <\/span>Sinthu Aung<\/b> to their squad on loan deals from <\/span>Yangon United <\/b>and <\/span>Yadanarbon<\/b> respectively. <\/span><\/p>\n

Elsewhere, <\/span>Prachuap FC<\/b>\u00a0signed <\/span>prolific\u00a0Krabi<\/strong> striker <\/span>Supot Jodjam<\/b>, and have acquired Thai-Italian midfielder <\/span>Antonio Verzura <\/b>from relegated <\/span>Ubon UMT United. <\/b>Unfortunately, the side failed to hold star man <\/span>Jonathan Reis<\/b>, who is set to depart the club after he was denied a substantial salary increase. <\/span><\/p>\n
