According to the reports in India, the 54-year-old tactician was listed among 75 applications for the vacant role as the All India Football Federation (AIFF) is looking for a coach with experience at the grass-root level.<\/p>\n
Pearce spent two seasons with Manchester City in 2005-2007 before taking up the vacant England U-21 job, guided the youth team to the final of the 2009 UEFA U-21 Championship.<\/p>\n
