In the meeting on March 7 lead by Football Association of Thailand (FAT) president\u00a0Somyot Poompanmoung, the Thai League governing body decided to shut down the VAR and AAR system from April 1 due to lack of clarity and prior approval from FIFA and AFC.<\/p>\n
If any club wants to use VAR or AAR, they can make a request, so the FAT will coordinate with the companies that operate those systems. However, the clubs will have to pay the operating fee, which is around 3,000-4,000 baht ($95-$128) per use.<\/p>\n
