The second round of K League 1 must have upset sports gamblers. Incheon United defeated the title holder Jeonbuk Hyundai 3-2, while Ulsan Hyundai lost 0-2 against Sangju Sangmu that barely stayed in the first division.<\/p>\n

1. The Best Match<\/strong><\/p>\n

The best match of this round was between Incheon United and Jeonbuk Hyundai. Defending champion Jeonbuk Hyundai\u00a0had defeated\u00a0incheon\u00a0three times from nine matches in the past three years. Incheon had always shown a solid defense and\u00a0utilised\u00a0a counterattacking opportunity.<\/p>\n

This match was different, however. Incheon set a counter fire against Jeonbuk. Incheon took advantage of quick feet of Moon Seon-min and\u00a0Kwabena Appiah-Kubi.<\/p>\n

While Moon scored an opener three minutes after the whistle was blown, Jeonbuk’s top scorer Kim Shin-wook soon scored an equaliser on 16 minutes. Not long after, Stefan Mugosa, after receiving the ball from Kubi who passed by Kim Jin-su, put his name on the scoreboard.<\/p>\n

Kim Jin-su helped the team to go back on track as he sent a cross from the left flank. Incheon’s goalkeeper punched it but could not clear it, which gave a chance to Adriano to make the score even.<\/p>\n

The day went well for Incheo, though, as Moon Seon-min begged his brace.<\/p>\n

Incheon recorded 10 attempts with eight on target, which is more than Jeonbuk with eight attempts and five on target, as well as possessed the ball 53% of the time. Indeed, Incheon gave Jeonbuk, known for their\u00a0‘Dak-gong<\/em> (shut up and attack)’ tactic, a real lesson on how to attack.<\/p>\n

2. Best Goal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pohang Steelers and Jeonnam Dragons had another exciting match for fans, and showed the best goal of the round.<\/p>\n

It was 1:1 on 58 minutes. Kang Sang-woo managed to trap the ball that had been cleared by Jeonnam’s defender. Kang then ripped\u00a0a shot into the\u00a0top left side of the net.<\/p>\n

Kang, who scored none last season, shared his joy with his teammates. The goal helped the visitor secure a chance of victory and win 3:2 away.<\/p>\n

3. The Best Save<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Park Jun-tae from Jeonnam won the penalty in the box as Kang Hyun-moo committed a foul. Ha Tae-kyun, who\u00a0has not put his name on the scoreboard in K League for the last four years, was the kicker.<\/p>\n

However, Kang Hyun-moo predicted the ball’s direction. Ha Tae-kyun made another attempt with the bounced ball but\u00a0it did not go through.<\/p>\n

Six mintues after, Kang Sang-woo scored a super goal for Pohang. Should Kang Hyun-moo have not saved the penalty, the result\u00a0would have changed.<\/p>\n
