Former Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Jason Brown has quit his job as a goalkeeping coach at\u00a0The Promotion Fund for Vietnamese Football Talent (PVF)<\/a>, as reported by Vietnam media outlets.<\/p>\n

The reason for Jason’s departure has been undisclosed.<\/p>\n

On his official Facebook page<\/a>, Brown wrote in Vietnamese: “I am really sad and disappointed to parting with PVF.”<\/p>\n

“I enjoyed every moment of working with Vietnamese coaches.\u00a0They all have great qualities and will achieve a lot of success.\u00a0No need to name all their names, all of them are very special to me and hope that someday I will see them again.”<\/p>\n

“I would like to thank all the staff at PVF who helped me to get acquainted with the new environment in a positive way and to make me really feel comfortable and integrate.<\/p>\n

“I want to thank all the players for their efforts and I wish them the best in the future.”<\/p>\n

“Vietnam will forever be my home!”<\/p>\n

After ending his goalkeeper career at various English clubs, including Charlton Athletic and Blackburn Rovers, Brown participated in training courses of UEFA and FA and started working as a goalkeeping coach.<\/p>\n

In 2013-15, he took charge of keeper training for the youth teams of\u00a0Wales, Millwall FC and Gillingham FC. Later in 2015, he worked with Arsenal\u2019s U18 and U23 squads.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
