He first received a six-year ban and a fine of 100,000 Swiss francs, which were later mitigated to a five-year ban and 50,000 Swiss Francs.<\/p>\n<p>However, CAS concluded that while Chung was guilty, his violations were &#8220;a far lesser degree than found by the FIFA instances,&#8221; and reduced the existing ban to 15 months, which expired as of 7th January 2018.
