This weekend, V.League action continues with the matchday 6. In this matchday, league leaders Ho Chi Minh City will have the chance to increase their gap at the top when they face newcomers Viettel at home. The hosts are still unbeaten this season while Viettel has lost in each of their away matches.

A win could help Lee Heung-sil’s side increase the lead, as defending champions Hanoi face a tough test from Hai Phong.

Despite playing at home, Hanoi FC will be expecting a tough encounter from their match this weekend. Hai Phong gave a good record at the Hang Day stadium, and their huge crowd of fans could travel over 100km from Hai Phong to Hanoi to support the team. The defending champions already dropped points last weekend against Sanna Khanh Hoa and will be hoping to bounce back to prevent Ho Chi Minh City from extending their lead.

The safety of the match will be very important as there will be many away fans, who are likely to bring flares to the stadium.

Elsewhere, Thanh Hoa FC will look for a first win of the season to avoid slipping all the way down to last place when they face Sanna Khanh Hoa at home.
