Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta has reportedly rejected a big money move to the Chinese Super League, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Iniesta reportedly ruled out the possibility to move to the Far East as he believed he still played an important part in Ernesto Valverde’s squad.
The 33-year-old has made 17 appearances this season as the Catalan side challenge on all fronts.
Back in October, Iniesta, who has made 17 appearances for the Catalan side on all fronts this season so far, agreed to stay at the club by signing a ‘contract for life’ at the Nou Camp.
Meanwhile, Spanish media claimed that Iniesta’s current team-mate Javier Mascherano had been tipped to leave Barcelona in January, and his next destination could be Hebei Fortune.
However, the Chinese Super League side have dismissed the rumors.
