Indonesia-born Emil Audero set for Juventus debut in Italian Serie A

Young goalkeeper Emil Audero Mulyadi will make his Juventus debut in the final game of Italian Serie A campaign this season against Bologna on Saturday.

Bianconeri have already secured a record sixth straight Serie A title with a 3-0 win over Crotone last week and they are expected to field a reserve team at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

“On Saturday, Emil Audero will play as a first choice,” said Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri in the pre-match conference.

The 20-year-old is eligible to play for Indonesia at international levels via his father, where he was also born in Mataram. But he refused an offer to join the U-22 squad for SEA Games.

I was also revealed that he expressed his desire to play for Italy in the future after playing for the European giants at youth levels.
