Japanese Star Shinji Okazaki Leaves Malaga After 34 Days

Japan is shocked by the news that spread yesterday in European newspapers.

Japanese national team and former Leicester striker Shinji Okazaki ha left Spanish team Malaga for an economical reason related to the club.

His contract was terminated this Monday night, just 34 days after his arrival. The Segunda Division club was unable to register the 33-year-old striker without breaching the salary cap.

On Social media, Okazaki left the supporters with the following words:

“Hello Malaga’s supporters, first of all I want to thank you for the immense love you gave me during my stay.
I want to say goodbye and wish the greatest success to my team-mates and the staff that made me feel at home.
I do not regret anything, I will never forget the time I have spent with you.
If one day I have the opportunity to play for Malaga CF, I will have no doubts.”

Okazaki is now searching for another club to show his skills. Rumours say that he has been linked to Huesca, another Spanish second division club.
