David Beckham met with Johor Darul Ta’zim owner

Football legend David Beckham met with the owner of Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim (TMJ) on Thursday.

On his official Instagram, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid posted a photo in which he was presented with a JDT shirt with number 7 on the back by the Crown Prince of Johor.

Meanwhile, Beckham also congratulated the club on their latest league success.

“Great to meet TMJ last night … Great dinner with him and my friend Peter Lim and congratulations to his team the Johor Southern Tigers on the championship,” the 42-year-old said on his Instagram.

Beckham was in Malaysia on promotional activities for a sponsor. His tour also included Hong Kong and Singapore.
