Peeradon Chamratsamee to replace Thitipan Puangchan in Australia qualifier

Thailand head coach Milovan Rajevac has called up Peeradon Chamratsamee to replace Thitipan Puangchan for the last 2018 World Cup qualifier against Australia on 5 September.

During the 2-1 defeat to Iraq on Thursday evening, Thitiphan was sent off in the 72nd minute after receiving his second yellow card.

After that, his team-mate Chaermpong Kerdkaew completed the disappointing night for the War Elephants by conceding a penalty after pulling Aymen Hussein in the area.

Adulameer made no mistake from the spot with five minutes to go to seal the win for Iraq.

Thailand remain at the bottom of Group B of Asia’s final qualifying round for the 2018 World Cup with two draws.

Milovan Rajevac’s men will travel to Melbourne to face Australia in their last group game next Tuesday.
