JDT clinch fourth consecutive Malaysian Super League title

Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) has made history by winning the Malaysian Super League title for the fourth time in a row despite losing 2-1 away to Selangor on Saturday.

Their title rivals, Kedah, fell 2-1 to third-placed Pahang, thus confirming JDT’s title.

JDT has amassed a staggering 45 points from 19 matches, 11 more than second-placed Kedah, with just three games remaining until the end of the season.

At the moment, the Southern Tigers has won 14 out of 19 matches, scoring 45 goals while conceding just 16. In comparision, Kedah have won only 9 matches, scoring 42 goals but conceding 26.
