Charyl Chappius targets Thai league title with Muangthong United

After completing his move to Thai League 1 powerhouse Muangthong United, midfielder Charyl Chappuis expresses his desire to win the championship with the new club.

“First of all, I would like to thank Suphanburi for looking after me so well, especially during the long period when I was nursing a nagging injury,” said Charyl, as quoted by Bangkok Post.

“I am happy to become a new player of Muangthong United and would like to win the championship with the club.”

At Muangthong, the Thai-Swiss is being seen as a replacement for Chanathip Songkrasin, who has left the Thai League 1 side to join J-League Consadole Sapporo on an 18-month loan deal.

However, Charyl cannot get his desire No.7 jersey at Muangthong as this number has been assigned to Heberty Fernandes.
