Muangthong United is on the verge of signing Thailand international midfielder, Thossawat Limwannasathian, from rival Chiangrai United, according to reports in Thailand.
The news arrived after Thailand champions Muangthong United defeated Chiangrai United 4-2 in a Thai League clash on Friday.
Thossawat was previously on loan from Army United in 2016 and has been praised for being one of the most valuable assets of Chiangrai United since then.
Victory took the Kirins back to the top of Thai League after a six-game losing streak, level on points with Buriram United.
