Saeid Ezatolahi linked with a move to Olympiacos

Superleague Greece outfit Olympiacos has shown interest in signing former Atletico Madrid midfielder Saeid Ezatolahi on a free transfer, according to reports.

Ezatolahi’s contract with Russian club FC Rostov expired at the end of the 2016 season and as a free agent, the 21-year-old midfielder is weighing up offers from various clubs, including Anderlecht, Panathinaikos, Hamburg, Persepolis and Stoke City.

Ezatolahi made his debut for Iranian club Malavan just 25 days after his 16th birthday, making him the youngest ever player in the history of the Iran Pro League. He went on to become the youngest goal scorer for the Iranian national team at the age of 19.

He was signed by Spanish giants Atletico Madrid in 2014 but decided to leave the club in 2015 as he failed to earn a starting berth in the first team.
