FC Seoul signs Mauro Junior from Criciuma

K League Classic winners FC Seoul has signed Brazilian attacker Mauro Job Pontes Junior from Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A outfit Criciuma, according to reports.

In an official statement, FC Seoul said Mauro Junior, better known as Maurinho, has signed a one-year contract to play for the club, although other details of the deal were not disclosed.

Mauro Junior is not a stranger to the South Korean football league. Last season, he played with Jeonnam Dragons FC but failed to score in seven league appearances.

FC Seoul manager Hwang Sun-hong said he will use his new signing on the wings, as a replacement for the recently-departed Lee Sang-ho.
